Area Restriction: Every Site Sees Only Its Own Roster
An area is a site with its own device sign-in. The scanner at that site matches faces only against the employees assigned to it, so a punch at the wrong branch is refused on the screen rather than quietly landing in a timesheet.
How it works
Create an area for each office, job site or kiosk. It gets its own username and password, so the tablet on that wall signs in as that site and nothing else. Assign each employee to the area they work at.
When someone scans, four things have to line up before an entry is written: the face has to match an enrolled employee, that employee has to be assigned to this area, they have to still be active, and the current time has to fall inside their schedule allowing for the grace period you set. Fail any one and the scanner says which, on the spot.
Coordinates and a photo are recorded alongside every successful entry as supporting evidence. FaceBioTime does not currently draw a radius on a map or block an entry on distance alone — the restriction is by roster and schedule, which is what stops a person clocking in somewhere they do not work.

No cross-site punching
A device signed in as one area cannot log anyone who is not on that area's roster, however good the face match is.
Refused at the screen
The person scanning is told why straight away, so it is settled at the door instead of becoming a correction later.
Schedules enforced too
Entries outside the shift window are refused, with the grace periods you configure before and after each punch.
A timezone per site
Each area can override the company timezone, so a branch in another zone reports its own local hours correctly.
